The word “advent” means “coming,” a season of preparing our hearts and looking forward to the coming of Christ in the past (the incarnation), the future (the last days) and the present moment. It is an invitation to “let every heart prepare Him room” by making space to intentionally devote time and attention to the Word of God and prayer. Advent is an opportunity to enter the eternal story and experience the good news of Emmanuel, God with Us.
